Tee Minus 1 Week: Live Music Kicks Off on Cimi’s Patio

We’re just one week away from something special—our first Live Music Night on the patio at Cimi’s Bistro in Columbus! Join us Friday, May 1st from 6–9 PM as we officially launch our Summer Nights series with an incredible opening act: Step Back 3.

Starting strong, Step Back 3 brings together seasoned musicians Mike Raymond, Dave Gallagher, and Brent Badger—veterans of the Ohio music scene. Their acoustic style spans decades and genres, covering everything from The Beatles and Elvis to Tom Petty, The Cure, and beyond. Expect a mix of classic favorites, hidden gems, and crowd-pleasing hits that make for the perfect summer soundtrack.

And this is just the beginning. We’ll feature live music every Thursday and Friday from 6–9 PM, May through the end of August, with a rotating lineup of talented local artists each week.

Drew Allen: Drew Allan is a seasoned Central Ohio entertainer with over 20 years of experience performing nationally and internationally. A former American Idol contestant, he delivers a crowd-pleasing mix of classic, recognizable music spanning multiple decades. Drew has performed at high-profile events for notable figures including Coach Urban Meyer, The Ohio State University, PGA professionals, Grammy winners, and Super Bowl champions. He’s also a longtime performer for the Columbus Clippers and Pinnacle Golf Club. You can catch Drew live every Friday on the Cimi’s Bistro patio, May through the end of August, bringing his signature energy and timeless setlist to summer nights.

Brandi Sparks: Ohio native Brandi Sparks is a singer-songwriter who blends folk, soul, and roots rock into a sound that’s both powerful and deeply personal. With an angelic yet raspy voice, she moves effortlessly from heartfelt ballads to uplifting anthems, sharing stories of life’s highs and lows. Her music is soulful, inspiring, and sure to leave you feeling a little lighter.

Will Freed: Will Freed is an award-winning blues and rock guitarist, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist known for captivating, intimate live performances. Blending soulful blues with high-energy rock, he creates a rich, dynamic sound on every stage. In addition to guitar, Will also performs on harmonica and mandolin, bringing depth and versatility to his shows. A 2020 recipient of the Joy In Music Award, he’s released four studio albums featuring collaborations with acclaimed artists like John Popper (Blues Traveler), Monte Montgomery, and Elliot Randall (Steely Dan). With over 20 years of professional experience, Will delivers heartfelt, engaging performances that leave audiences wanting more.

Tryzdin Grubbs: Tryzdin is a Columbus-based singer-songwriter blending heartfelt storytelling with modern pop and rock influences. With nearly a decade of experience, he’s performed everywhere from local stages to national television, including American Idol. His live sets mix original music with well-loved covers, creating an engaging, easygoing atmosphere that connects with any crowd. Smooth, versatile, and welcoming—Tryzdin delivers performances that are as memorable as they are enjoyable.

Brad Landis: Brad Landis is a solo acoustic performer from Grove City, Ohio, known for his stripped-down yet full-sounding covers of rock and country favorites. Using live looping, rhythm, and effects, he creates the feel of a one-man band with a rich, layered sound. Brad performs regularly across Central Ohio, bringing familiar songs to life in a fresh, engaging way.
